Scribbles

Some little head scribbles...trying to stay loose, get more feeling and life and energy into my stuff.

I am in awe of so many of my fellow art bloggers who do the most wonderful animated (in the sense that they have life and 'movement' despite being static images) drawings...people like Mel Milton, Kevin Micallef, Martin Wittig, Uli Meyer, Scott Tolleson ...the list could go on and on and ON...

I'm trying to get more of that feeling into my own sketches. I see so much out there that inspires me. And sometimes depresses me, I must admit. I despair of ever reaching the level of so much of the excellent work I see every day.

Hate to break it to you Chrissie, but your stuff is every bit as good as the artists you mentioned! Awesome line work! Thats what I love about art, the individuality of it. I would get bored in a hurry if your work looked exactly like everyone elses! Keep up the inspiring work!!!

Hey Chrissie, I totally get that same feelin when I come here. You are so versed in so many styles, and the moods you bring to your art are inspiring in it self. Since I stumbled on to your site I have been inspired everytime with out fail! More please! ;)

Hi Chrissie thanks for stopping by, I had to comment on these loose sketches. solid blog here, your figure drawings are solid! very nice! I recognize some of your work from the drawingboard. Like the Kristin Drawing Jam, I'm checking everyday to see if they're finally going to put up the new drawing Jam. Someone is lagging it. You hold many talents I see different styles, all that I like, my favorite one is your February 13 Post of the female study, I like the technique and LOVE the colors you use!!

Your work is just as good an in most cases better than the artists you named. There's lots of great work here, these faces especially :)

Hey, I know what you mean. So many great stuff out there. But, I think you are doing well. You have a good variety of work and just keep them coming. I like your figure drawings. I am trying to build my portfolio. Feel free to visit my blog and give me some feedback on my work.
