Illustration Friday: Portrait

Is there any kind of portrait more difficult to do than a self portrait? So challenging to separate your ego from the depiction of your own face. I gave it a try, and had a lot of fun with it. :)

I haven't attempted a self-portrait in about ten years – and I'm not about to start now!

But this is bold and very well-crafted. Kudos!

Looks good, does it look like you? That's the haredst thing for me, to make the portraits actually look like the subject.

Nice one! You always pick great colors for your artwork! I have sketched a few self portraits from time to time, but never anything serious. I am working on a digital portrait of my wife and it has been a real challenge for me... Anyway- great job on this!!
