she has a very retro feel to her.. love the textural contrast you added to the backgroundand allowed to play through some of your figure... nice touch!
Cool! I like the char design and line work. :)
Terrific work! Well done! Very dramatic.
Lovely execution, really well done!
Really nice - very contemporary but also evocative of a hard boiled dame from a 50's noir story - I love the crispness of your line as well as your superb color sense.
This is so beautifully designed. (And your drawings are fabulous!)
This is really cool! Feels almost retro...in a modern sort of way. Does that even make sense? haha! Either way, it's terrific. Keep up the great work!
cool illo, diggin it.
That'd be first rate! Hat's off!
Great illustration! I agree with Janice's comments; the background peeking through the drawing makes for a nice dynamic.
ooo the style on this is stunning Miss Chriss!!! Love the caricature below as well!
nice work.I like the repeated curves on theturtle neck.
Green! Very green with paisley envy. Nice job!I keep drawing stuff for Illustration Friday but somehow something, some technical difficulty, some distraction or some emergency keeps me from posting it. It's fun anyway -- the drawing part.
Lovely stuff, Chrissie! Thanks for the comments on my blog. I've added a clickable image on that self portrait now! I hope you like it.-Ben
Everything's gone green! (Another New Order reference.)Thanx4 the comments on SFG and on my blog.
Egads that's nice!!! Love all the colors and the execution is incredible!
Very nice. The dark green looks to me like a lino cut for some reason. I think it is because the lines have a kind of natural flow to them, like you would get if you were carving them out of linoleum (without all the cut fingers).
