Red Dancer

Acrylic, ink, pencil on mat board. Trying to stretch a bit.

I'm amazed that my many-decades-old acrylics haven't completely dried up!

Your ability to use them hasn't dried up either.
Lots of nice motion and use of color.
This is totally different for you. Always good
to stretch and experiment.

WOOOOOOW Chrissie. Now I could take the time to use formal terms to describe why this is in my opinion a successful piece. No need. This is flat out beautiful.

Thanks Doug! Yes, it's really REALLY different for me. It a bit scary to try something this far out of my comfort zone.

Krys--thank you for the comment! It is really appreciated. Made me feel great all day today. :)
