A Clockwork Chickpea

What the hell? I haven't posted anything here since June?? I think I was kidding myself that it had only been a couple of months.

Okay, well, while I continue to struggle to find time to do something art-related, I will post photos in the meantime—something I rarely do. Here are some pictures of me as Alex from the film A Clockwork Orange, my costume for Halloween. I'm betting most of you reading this won't have a point of reference for the costume, or the film. Just like at the party. I think a grand total of 2 people knew who I was. It's okay—doing it was fun.

Iconic! Kinda like the movie poster! A little.

Note the semi-authentic bloody eyeball cuff decorations. Those were hard to find!

It's a classic! Really great film...I saw it over and over back when it first came out. I think it shaped my formative years. :)

Whoa, never saw the film ... but if Alex looked this good I'm sure I would have. Love it Chrissie.

Haha, thank you Doug. Now go rent the movie--it's thought-provoking and well-done (the book is great, too.)

Chrissie, good to see you!(or Alex)
I've never seen the movie but know
about it, I'll watch it now!
Those bloody eye balls are cool.

Hiya Bill! Thanks for stopping by!

If you do check out the movie, be forewarned--it does have its violent moments. But for a nearly forty-year-old film it holds up well, in my opinion.

I'm thinking of wearing the bloody eyeballs to client meetings...could be fun. :)
