Illustration Friday: Tattoo
I stole some time away from a looming deadline to put this together fast--I missed the last IF and didn't want to miss this one too. Wasn't sure if I liked the tattoos best in color, or in black. I do love the *punch* of straight black and white art. But I did do a color version, which can be seen here.
This was done in FreeHand, the poor vector program that has been gobbled up by Adobe but which I will always love.

nice design!
Great design. I do love the punch you get from the black design. I think color would detract from that.
Very nicely done. I like the b&w version best.

Thanks so much, everyone, for the comments! I really appreciate the feedback. :)
Freehand or Illustrator... either way, I love the vector art you have going on here! Cool design!
oooooooo I love this!! Amazingly inspirational yet again!
Good design, I like more the red-black-white version...
The previous pencil nudes are simply great
I wonder if the response to the B&W is more favorable because of the red tattoo shapes crossing the black outline on the color version? Just curious.
I'm delighted to benefit (eye-candy) from your weekly self-imposed deadline! Thank you for stepping back into this pool of inspired effort. I love how the blogspot allows showers of warm response!
A P P L A U S E ! ! !
Thanks for the heads-up on your current mischief...
