she has a very retro feel to her.. love the textural contrast you added to the backgroundand allowed to play through some of your figure... nice touch!
Really nice - very contemporary but also evocative of a hard boiled dame from a 50's noir story - I love the crispness of your line as well as your superb color sense.
I keep drawing stuff for Illustration Friday but somehow something, some technical difficulty, some distraction or some emergency keeps me from posting it. It's fun anyway -- the drawing part.
Very nice. The dark green looks to me like a lino cut for some reason. I think it is because the lines have a kind of natural flow to them, like you would get if you were carving them out of linoleum (without all the cut fingers).

This is so beautifully designed. (And your drawings are fabulous!)
This is really cool! Feels almost retro...in a modern sort of way. Does that even make sense? haha! Either way, it's terrific. Keep up the great work!
cool illo, diggin it.
That'd be first rate! Hat's off!
Great illustration! I agree with Janice's comments; the background peeking through the drawing makes for a nice dynamic.

I like the repeated curves on the
turtle neck.
Green! Very green with paisley envy. Nice job!
