GED Success Program Project

I did a pro bono job for the GED Success Program last month: key fob, poster and shirts. Fun, and for a good cause: to promote a workshop and encourage female students to shake off the stupid stereotype that they can't 'do math.'

Cool Artwork Chrissie!
I think it's great you got involved with something you feel
strongly about.
Stereotypes are for folks that want to ignore the truth, or sweep
it under a rug.
I also think it's great you encourage women to persevere!
Keep on

Thanks a lot, Bill! I like your thoughts on stereotypes; my feeling exactly.

The folks at the GED program do great work, and I was really pleased to be able to be a part of it.

Hi Chrissie,

What a great image you created.
Do you know that I have a similarly themed website: www.TheMathMom.com that illuminates and demystifies mathematics for women presenting it as cool, non-intimidating and fun. We should keep in touch for any potential future collaboration.
best!
