Hi Chickpea. That is a very well drawn rendering of a woman. I love the fact that you used a green wash as a highlight. How was this done? How did you get a digital illustration from a pencil sketch? Photo Shop seems to be able to do pretty much everything that the artist could do by painting and drawing by hand. Benecio Tel Torro looks like the real article. This is pretty good art . You have a very distinct gift for drawing and illustrating. Personally I like your quick studies the best. I think that they have loads of personality and I like the fashion they imply. Reese Witherspoon is another fine example of your magic at drawing people. That’s a real gift. I have always been in awe of anyone who can make their drawing look like a real portrait. Chickpea is a great site to follow fellow artists and learn more defined techniques.

PushPull is gorgeous. I love how you incorporated color and texture, and then applied that smooth, carefree black line of motion on top. It reminds me of a quote from Georgia O'Keefe about color and shapes.
